June 23, 2009 Walter’s Premium Pilsner Is Back! Walter’s is again being brewed for the folks of Eau Claire Wisconsin and surrounding areas. Tim Kelly, Brewmaster at Northwoods Brewpub and Grill, spent months developing the beers original flavor. It uses a lager yeast, making it’s taste cleaner and crisper. The Walter’s brewery was founded in 1890 by Johannes Walter and continued until 1990. It will be available at many area bars and retail outlets in the next few weeks.
